Yes that’s right as of the 22nd of April our chicken will be 100% GMO FREE!!!
This has been a long process, taking almost 5 years as Devon has painstakingly changed his farm from the conventional to the decidedly fabulous against some pretty unpredictable odds. The birds have been eating a really varied diet for some time now with the greens and worms that Dev grows for them and the stuff they find for themselves, but they’ve always had grain too, finding a feed mix that was readily available and free from corn and soy was quite a challenge but Dev has done it!!
Exceptional Foods is going to be short on chicken for the next two weeks as the current batch of birds have a chance to get a bit bigger. Their natural diet and the cooler weather cause them to grow a little slower but we can afford to be patient for those amazing results!!!
